Children and Greyhounds

Yes, greyhounds are good with children, more so than many other breeds.  As mature dogs, many are not as playful as puppies, but most are usually very tolerant of children. Many will walk away from a bothersome child rather than growling or snapping. However, all dogs have their limits and your greyhound should not be expected to contend with an unruly child. If your child has a tendency to aggravate pets you should postpone adoption until the child is older.
